Far from being the first release by Old Monks' Saga, "Epopee" is a dark neo-classical / dark ambient work with some martial elements, and also the occasional use of marching drumbeats, background voice samples, and pipe organs. Distinct sound structures, both dark and mysterious. "Orthodoxy - Catholicism (Loyalty)" features the lyrics and vocals of Kostolomo, who is best known for his numerous releases as First Human Ferro. Recommended for fans of Desiderii Marginis and First Human Ferro. The CD comes packaged in a DVD case with full inserts and strange artwork.
